  • My newly built Diversion 165 Welding Cart

A weekend project I just completed.
I'm trying to organize my shop.. I saw a Youtube Video of the "Crazy Cart" and thought I could do something like that as well... but not as crazy.

Hope you like and inspires a few of you!

    Mike

Hey Mike - that looks really nice, good job! I noticed that there are no sharp corners anywhere on it that I can see - that was one of those things my Dad critisized (constructively) me on years ago. Havent had a sharp corner since

Very impressive work! May I suggest that you add a removable tray to sit on the top of the 165's case. I made one for mine, and find it indispensable for catching/holding parts, pieces of filler rod, tools... whatever. The tray sits on LRF's, so it won't scratch the top.

That is nice. I like the diamond plate contrast.

          Thanks for the kind words.

I like the tray idea. Might have to do that along with a torch holder/clamp and a helmet stand/hook.

Very very nice cart. Love that drawer.
The drawer keeps the dirt off of the accessories.

Good work, I like the drawer plus the fact you outfitted it completely with rod and cable holders. Nicely done.

I missed that chain you had for the gas bottle.

Those chain links are not welded. Not safe bro. Got to fix that. Just a small but important detail.

Like I said though, very nice well made cart overall.
