I'll take the Miller welder and the Ingersall Rand off your hands, that will give you a few more feet of space.

Seriously, it doesnt look that bad, I wish I had that much space. But then the equipment I use it scattered around a 75' x 150' shop, a lot of walking but only a 15' x 30' area to do most of my welding in.

What else is there besides welding and riding. Besides that

    Hobart Handler 187
    Dewalt Chop Saw

Its pretty tight in there Kbar. My shop is about 29x15 and there is the area behind the cam that you cant see. Just as messy right now.

I'll throw in the drill press for another $4700.00. wadaya think? is that a deal or what?!?

You'll have to let me come to your shop though so that I can weld stuff and paint and the like...

Looks like your tablesaw pulls double duty like mine.
Still it looks like a nice shop. How is the floor coating holding up with sparks and stuff being dropped?

What's the problem? You still have space on the floor to run a broom. Wish I had that convenience in my shop. I have to stand with one foot in front of the other.

                  It's work in progress

Sign, That's called "work in progress" and the shop isn't supposed to be clean! Or that's what is seems like! I just cleaned mine top to bottom a week ago.........and now that I'm repairing this snow plow.........well.........you get the picture. Hang in there and just clean it up when you're finished with the 50 Horse. Have a good one!

                    Yer justa bragg,n

I love it when someone takes a photo of their shop and says it's a mess! compared to mine it looks like a surgical center! I don't know how anybody can find anything in that shop it's just to clean. Perhaps a half fabed tailor, about a half ton of scrape metal and some spare tire rims could help organize the joint?

I can relate to the one foot in front of the other walking style not the best for keeping a calm demeanor.Mike

more stuff, scratched floor, surgery&bandaids, new tools and piles of junk&steel.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I had a good laugh this morning!

The shop floor is not holding up well, after dragging my table saw around for the last two years (since I painted the floor) and welding sparks, grinding, and projects- its starting to show through so this coming summer its going to have to be done again. Maybe this time I'll use a real floor finish. A two part epoxy, but then again.... whats the point. Molten steel doesnt care if the floor is bare or painted, its still going to eat through it. There are a couple of spots where the molten puddles left a good impression.

The pile of scrap steel is out side. One pile in the driveway blocking the way and the other pile at the side of the house stopping the local kids from using my yard as a cut through. Blame the tire on the wife. she has yet to move it since she put new tires on her jeep..

I really hope i never have to clean up a red spot on the floor. the shop may be relatively clean from your POV, but there is nothing worse than a day "cut" short.

I think that im going to have to build some sort of rig to keep the plasma and the 250 in one spot an over/under style cart. that way i gain back a little floor space.

My problem is that I need this humble space to do my paying jobs as much as I need it to do my playing jobs. If only I could find that balance.. it seems to be one or the other.

Thanks for the great replies you guys.

                        Can I borrow somebodies coounterspace??

                        Rich.
