  • Cat 304cr Dozer push arm repair

Got a call the other day to come out and fix this mess.Customer was moving a very, very large rock to say the least.Snapped 6"x3".025 HSS dozer push arm,and bent the p-side one.Used 2 1-1/2ton chain come alongs to get things back lined up.And platedboth arms with 3/8" plates.Sliced the bent one on 3 sides and pulled straight then rewelded up and plated it.The d-side was the broken one laying on the ground when i arrived.Lots of mud, rain, and drizzle to contend with but got it done. After getting shocked a few times loading 7018 rods.
