  • Excuse the Mess

This is another project in trying to tame the clutter in the shop. (Don't bust my chops on the missing grinder guard Got tired of digging through a few rod cases trying to read the fine print to see if it's 308, 309L, etc, so I finally put together a case holder that will hold 10 Rod Guard rod cases. I like the results, but still waiting to paint it and get in the extra holders I have on order.

Purchased some 3" x 1" 16 gauge rectangular tubing and drilled some holes:

    Welded it together:

It'll mount to the side of my Sync 200:

    Miller Syncrowave 200
    Homemade Water Cooler
    130XP MIG
    Spectrum 375
    60 year old Logan Lathe
    Select Machine and Tool Mill
More stuff than I can keep track of..

Looks good. Where do you get the rod holders. The LWS has them but are kinda high $$. Do you get them online somewhere.

              Rod holders

Bought mine on line. LWS didn't have 'em. Similar price I think. Seems I got them from Indiana Oxygen? But you can find them listed on ebay as well.

Nice work, very clean little organizer.

And I wasn't even going to mention the missing safety guard on the grinder ....
