Here has been my biggest headache, I mean project this year.About 90% done on the out side.
Was originally a chrome plating shop, and has had many other owners throughout the years. I purchased this 3 years ago.Tore it down last january and hope to have everything inside completed by march.
he says it was forged aka blacksmithed looks like maybe 1/2" solid round to me with the ends flattened ad the middle either textured or textured and twisted.
It is 3/8" solid texture heated and bent to shape. The pivot at the top is riveted. The flats and feet were heated in the forge and hammered to shape. I have done a few candle sticks also.
I like spending time at the forge this time of year. July and Aug. not so much.
