I hope no one kicks me in the knees for saying this but, the HF lookalike to the visegrip 11s arnt to bad for 2 pair for less then 10 dollars. Will they clamp down a 1/2" plate for a bending brake to the bench and not bend....NO... they wont work for that. But for general everyday use they work great. In the event you did happen to break one or two, just set them back and the next trip near a HF stop by and they will give you new ones. IF it says Pittsburg they will replace it, no charge. I bought a 22" long 1/2 drive breakover bar, at the check out they said if it breaks bring it back. I bought it for a reason so I didn't hold back, and its still in one piece and straight too.

My other clamps are Strong Hand clamps.

            clamps

Stronghand clamps are really nice. I was die-hard vise grip untill I tried the Stronghands.

Bar clamps are important also. I like the ones the work with 1/2" or 3/4" pipe.

Bessey clamps are hard to beat.

You can never have to many clamps.

I keep meaning to give this eBay seller a try, but haven't so far. Looks like a good copy of a Wilton...which is a flimsier copy of the Bessey clamps. The price is right.

As the others have reported. Bessey clamps are 1st class along with Vise-Grips 11r & 6r locking C-clamps.

Wilton makes a good Bessey copy and the Chinese are knocking off the Bessey too.

I am always on the look out for Bessey's in my travels.

                  Good Luck!

They are very expensive. I didn't find a website with pricing. The big ones and the bar clamps cost several hundred $ each, the small ones will start in the high two-digit range. But every now and then a few used clamps in good condition can be found on ebay. That's how I started my collection, I've never bought one new.

Gross-Stabil is part of the Bessey group.
                          So yes, they're ok.

Thanks for the reply. Would you say the Gross-Stabil are as good as Bessey?
