  • New Hawk videos

Here is a couple more videos of the baby hawks and parents. I know we see hawks all the time but this stuff is rarely seen by most.

In the second video at about 3min 27sec, one chick expresses its opinion
about our economic situation now as I share the same view.

This will give you an idea how far the nest is up and away

Those are really neat videos. i live in prince george british columbia and two years ago we had a family of red tailed hawks living in our back yard too. when the chicks start learning how to fly they all get really vocal and loud. thanks for sharing that.

      Those vids are way cool

People that love birds have their minds in very high places.
A few years ago, I had a grey speckled hawk(fall-winter migratory) that showed up on my property.
I was letting a couple of friends hunt Doves.
After a Dove was harvested the Hawk came down to a low level branch and was basicly asking for the Dove.
My friends 13 year old son walked over to the Hawk and placed the Dove on the ground and walked away.
The Hawk jumped down and flew off with it.
It was ther the next morning wanting another one.
The Hawk would fly around me when I was opperating my Kubota and try to catch the rodents that were running from the tractor.
It returned for a couple of years but I did not see it last fall-winter.

I could make a r/c rock with a mini spy cam out of a cheap childrens toy. It wouldn't climb a tree though.
