    Jack,
This is a very nice and well thought out project. Thank you for sharing it on the board. I especially love the descriptions that were included with the photos.

Yes but it is during the week and geared more for the trade.

OTIS offers a general education in the processes on Saturdays 10-1pm with lab time during the week at night.

More of a creative work flow.

Otis is down in Westchester- easy shot from Wilshire Vista

Starts out on O/A and then Mig, Tig- stick if anyone wants to try it.

If ya really like O/A then just stay on that all class- whatever ya want.

It is not really a True Welding Class. I took it for the O/A and they have cool tools.

I've got an O/A setup that I haven't used yet. The class looks like a good way to learn some of this -- although my guess is I'll have to put up with a roomful of 'creatives,' huh?

Well, I tried to walk among the creatives -- but there are too many of them here in Los Angeles.

                    The Otis class is full.

I'll wade through the two Steve Bleile videos I picked up (one on O/A welding, the other on O/A cutting), and eventually try the setup out.

I was afraid that might happen since they only offer the one class now. The Provost decided to cancel the 2nd class.

It has its clean and pretty days.

And then there's this week, where there's been some cutting, grinding and welding happening.

I'm making a fence for my front yard.

                                Jack,
Keep us posted with pictures of the fence. That looks like a good project. I have thought of trying something like that and I want to hear how it goes.
