      No joking! I have a friend that uses argon to cool his computer. small, small mist, He has a 4GB processor and 3 fans weren't doing it. Works GREAT now. Been 1 year that he has it that way!!!

        he should just build a water cooler for the processor. would be much cheaper in the long run. not hard to do. i'll see if i can find the book it was in in my old computer school books. when i first saw it all i could think is, man i would not want to spring a leak. i just got a fan cooled heat sink for my processor, mostly cuzz it looked really cool. i had it over clocked for a wile but didn't really need it that way. so cooling was not really a problem.
        thanks for the help

            you might ask him if he has considerd water cooling. i cant see him hooking it up to argon and not knowing about water cooling but i would be interested in hearing why he didnt go water cooled ??

                Bert - You cleaned that one up just in time! I was about to say that I couldn't get a decent arc when I hooked my Acetylene tank to my Dynasty.

                Argon wouldn't cool the CPU by itself . . . it would take a heat pump hookup, which would be a lot more trouble to make than one of the water coolers. Most of the Overclocker sites have plans for water coolers. Some of them would make Rube Goldberg drool.

                    I should have thought of this when I first posted it, but as usual I was up surfing the net way too late at night when the brain wasn't fully functional.

                    This:

                    HTML Code:
                    [URL="http://www.arc1weldsafe.com/weldingmachines.htm"]ArcOne[/URL]
                    will give you this:

                    ArcOne

                    Hope this explanation clears it up. Assuming, of course, that certain people haven't been sniffing too much argon gas

                          The usual method is to use " ". I think the board probably allows for a certain amount of variation in some things. But I notice it doesn't allow for variations in others.
