  • Last Weekend's Project

My stepson has a small web-design business and will
be attending a business development conference in a
month or two and he needed a stand to display some
marketing material. So rather than veg in front of
the TV and rather than go out to a big-box-store,
    we fabricated one up ...

The picture below shows the end results...
I swotted up a small web page with the
    whole process, at

Nice weekend project there fjk. I sure wish I could get my stepson to take an interest in something productive. His words ( who ever said video games arnt everything ? ) oh well maybe someday he will open his eyes. He is 16 this year so I guess he has a year or two to wake up.

Always good to see Father and son/stepson working on something productive.
    Nice Work.

The cold/hot roll in the back really gives it a "retail" look. Cool!

          Ouch!
We would have done the welding on the driveway -- nothing
there that would be a problem. But the driveway is not flat
and we wanted to keep things as flat as possible, so quick
we go, in the garage on the nice, flat, concrete floor.
At least I got the lawnmower gas can and paper bag full
of newspapers for recycling out of the way!

Shows how easy it is to make simple, dumb, mistakes.

Let's face it, most 16-yr-olds are like that. But most all of us grow out
of it. And for those that don't, they can always become politicians
