It's a lifting hoist that i use for working on my bikes, or i use it as a welding table.

Good for you! I started a table lift 4 or 5 years ago. I have almost no money into it, but I bought a handy lift clone on Craigslist for $400. I don't know if I'll finish the one I started.

          "Lift Table"

JohnT: That's slick! Hey, how much do you think it weighs, and is it pretty easy to move around? Can you lay it on it's side when not in use to save space?

                Looks good so far.

Are you going to add some type of locking mechanism to hold it up in case the jack fails ?

How high is it when it's all the way up ?

How high is it when it's lowered all the way down ?

                  Project

Hey chuck, yes the hoist is done the picture that shows the jack is one that i took when i first position the jack. The jack is secure by the tention of the table. I will take another pic. to show how I plase the jack. I did it this way so i can remove it any time that the jack may go bad. the table stand about four feet high and about six in. on the lower positiom. thanks JohnT.
