    Here are two pictures of a desktop organizer that I recently finished. The first picture is as welded. The second is after bead blasting and in use.

        looks like a fun project. i saved a pic, now i just have to have the time to waist to go out and make me one. man i gotta get more play time.

          Frank:

          Are the sharp corners any problem?
          The bead blasting takes off the sharp edges of the pieces that aren't corner welded. The corner welds make the metal wrap around the corners so they aren't really that sharp before bead blasting.

            Don, have ya tried running a bead down the sharp edges, looks great and no Sharpies left except in the Pen and Pencil slot.

            I use that trick when I have tubing to be deburred in and out, especially rectangular stuff....little bit of low amp Tig action and away ya go...
