  • Miller Trailblazer Custom Trailer

Although our business is not a welding shop as such we have found the need to have more and more welding equipment on hand is growing every year. We started out as an automotive repair shop but got into machining and welding. We are brand loyal and as you can see Miller is the brand we like to use. The Miller product has never let me down so why try something else if this is working for me.

Anyway in February I built a cart for my new DX 200 which I called "Crazy Cart". I love that Dynasty. Now I just purchased a new Miller Trailblazer 302 and needed a trailer for it. It was one of those jobs that really didn't start out to be anything out of the ordinary but evolved into something else as I got into it.

The trailer features full suspension including shocks. It has a rear sliding compartment for tooling and such. There's also a flip up compartment in the rear for the smaller tools such as wheel wrenches, hammers....

The rear tailgate opens and as well as a small side door. The area where the side door is located is for either tanks or a new plasma cutter. I'm hoping to made a decision on that in the next week or so and got some cool ideas for that area.

I added two roll bars. These act as a place to hang the cables. Add some protection to the machine and I'll also use it as a metal rack or ladder rack. The roll bars gave me a place for my advertising signs as well. The only thing left to do with the roll bar is add the upper LED light bar. Where my main lights are lower I figured It would be safer to add the upper LED light bar as well and it with also be a signal light/brake and running light. I'll post pics of that when completed. All the lighting on the trailer is LED as well.

You'll notice if you look at the picture of the inside of the trailer there are tie downs. There in place for the factory Miller Trailblazer cover. Don't want that blowing off on the highway do we! Last is the license plate. Two things happen when your in poop. You either call 911 or your local welder Hope you all like it so far. Thanks for looking

Had a few guys ask me where I got the Miller tire cover. It's actually just a plain black cover that I used here. I figured I'd show you how I did it. Made a stencil. cleaned the vinyl cover down with rubbing alcohol. Applied stencil and paper. Used vinyl paint. Wait 15 minutes to dry and remove stencil and paper and you got yourself a hard to find Miller tire cover.

Nice job! I'm not usually a fan of the welding trailer concept but your trailer almost changes my mind

                            Very nice.

                              Nice

This is one of the nicest ive seen. Most customers appreciate quality, but others just care about price. Keep up the good work.
