  • Welder repair Help!

We have a Trailblazer 301D that will not start. We have had the starter checked and replaced the ignition switch. Nothing so far has helped. Any suggestions would be welcome!

"Will not start" is insufficient information.

Nothing happens--not a click, no lights, won't even try.

Sounds like a bad connection someplace. Ground? maybe. Battery good?....Bob

Now THAT's useful info that should have been in the first post. Now we can ask good questions.

            Battery voltage?

Do you have this voltage present at the ignition switch? Who replaced the ignition switch and why? Who "checked out" the starter and how did they do so?

MANY threads here, as you can imagine, are about "welder repair help." The subject line should be a SPECIFIC subject, including the model of the machine and the problem itself.

Assuming this unit has a starter solenoid... what happens when you place battery voltage on the solenoid terminals?
