  • Miller hf251d1 hookup to trailblazer

I have a Miller hf251d1 that I am wanting to run off of of my 2009 Miller trailblazer 302 with a/c setting. How do I hook it up and what machine settings do I use?

I'd check with Miller for a cable (or you can make one up with the adapter if so inclined). I typically remove the factory installed ones and build me own with higher specs, amperage ratings (to account for higher range of temps, accidental bends, etc). My rule of thumb is to "one better" the NEC, other standards.
ESAB TIG 252 with Miller CoolMate
    Spectrum 875
    Diversion 180
    Oxy-A (Harris, ESAB, Ox Weld)
    Miller 252
    MM 211
    CST 280
    Trailblazer - Kubota

And their rule is to do "one better" than what one should have, which is "one better" than what gets the job done...

And there's nothing wrong with that...
