Yes. But selected models only. I'm currently in the process of purchasing a new machine that's not on the rebate list.

Miller and Lincoln appear to be in something of an "arms race" -- incredible pricing on some of the newer models. Just saw a Brand New 252 priced approx $1000 less than what I paid some years ago. Just ordered a TB (Kubota driven) to replace Old Betsy (a CAT driven power source). Wanted a Big Blue (2x the price), but overspent last month on a new Orange tractor. Orange engines are nonetheless superb.

BTW --- the same Orange engines used in Miller's TB are so good Kubota is offering a Six Year Warranty on these and associated drive trains in their tractors. I believe Miller is giving me three years on mine, but I know these engines can go 10+ years easily -- just use the ELC coolants (I use CAT brands in everything) and the premium lubricants -- good place to research: http://www.pqiamerica.com/

Just curious is your new machine 3600 rpm or 1800 rpm.
I've always liked the 1800 but there generally twice the money.

I actually purchased this because of the Kubota engine and the 300a or so output (about all I use for the tractor, implement repairs, other welding --- bird netting frames, well, irrigation related equip repairs). Miller has these machines set up to run adaptive RPM's --- pretty interesting design. The engine puts out around 24hp and I'm a big fan or orange (and to a lesser degree green) engines/tractors. The green stuff has fallen in quality lately (primarily the utility tractor stuff built in India). Don't get me wrong --- I have a 1999 JD 410E backhoe (around 100hp) that is on its original engine -- outstanding workhorse.

Didn't realize the diesel were adaptive rpm. That's interesting.
Have older Big 40 and normally don't run it all the time but it's been running every day all day for the last month and I'm getting little worried.
Time to upgrade but new ones are many bucks

The gas engine trailblazers use adaptive engine RPM also. Its called Auto Speed Technology. Saves fuel and reduces noise.

I just rec'd an email from two of my suppliers (Baker's and IOC) -- Miller now has a $700 rebate on the D 180 --- I paid dearly for mine. Anyone know if they're replacing this model ??
