  • Foot pedal value for tig

    Hi all.
I just got my airco heliwelder v 300 amp tig.
Its the one made by ltec orange colored unit made in 1986.
I have it up and running on a old miller rfc14 pedal with a 1000 ohm wound resistor, but i think its the wrong value because i can start the arc with the hf but it doesnt go much higher when i floor it.
    C
If someone has one can you help me with the value. Willing to trade my miller pedal for the right one.
I know i can buy one new from sscc controls but would like to use this one.
    Thank you.
    Phil

150 or 130 ohm, still available if this is the 330 miller under a different color. 15 ohm 130 watt. They also used a 300 watt.

That is NOT a rebadged Miller 330..... Might best go with the SSC pedal & sell your Miller pedal to pay for it......

BTW.... how many pins in the pedal connector.... ???

Definitely not a 330. I can't tell what it is either.

That's a good shot at it, might very well be an ESAB.

That rfc-14 is not too terribly valuable because it's not too terribly hard to find after market.

Have you opened that machine up to see if you can find any make, model or favorite color inside? That's the key, finding the make and model.

I think ESAB made a bunch of products for Airco before they went out sometime in the early to mid eighties after Miller was done supplying them .
I thought I read that somewhere could be wrong ,Ryan hope you are doing all right down there you guys are in our thoughts .
