+1 on the Milwaukee. Great machine and not nearly so expensive.

i have the smallest band chop saw hem saw makes, i believe it was about $600.

waste of money. first time i pulled the trigger the motor shorted out and they expected me to pay return shipping on the motor once they sent a new one! LOL!

it doesn't cut too precise. i mean it is only a 1/2" blade, maybe i had too high of expectations.

I have the HEM 782Xl for 2 years now and that thing kicks ass it works great never a issue. Once you fine tune it, it is precise and powerful. It cuts like butter. A couple months ago I ordered the table attachment for it because I got sick of having to fix my 1 year old Jet 14" bandsaw. The attachment is kind of cheap but it works great and I can make some really good cuts with it. I think it is worth the investment.

Woah 20 years? That's awesome! Might get the cordless one from the same brand (saw it in Sawinery's Top Band Saws for 2017). Hope it last long like yours did.
