  • Syncrowave 180 SD Control board problem

I recently picked up a barely used syncrowave 180 SD TIG project. The machine stick welded but the TIG function does not work, so I pulled the board. I found a hot glue covered jumper "repair" on the smaller of the two boards connected with a ribbon. I am not sure what went on here, since there does not appear to to be anything burnt or visually blown. I am sure some component has failed, but the damage may have been contained to just this area since the Stick side still works. I think the board can be repaired if I had a schematic of it or even a picture of the traces on the smaller board. A new board is not really an option for me since the ones I have found are $500+ and my budget is very limited.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    The serial # kk324409
    The stock #903600

    Thanks, Johnny

    Control board issue

Hey I'm no help but was hoping you may have info that could help me. Dropped a hammer on foot control and it cut the wire and shorted. This caused control board damage. The 15v on a&k is all over the place. Did you find any info or someone that works on them? I was quoted $792 for a new board and I can't afford it. It's hunting season I'm broke thanks for any help u can provide
