  • Passport and Spool Gun

I have an original Miller Passport purchased in 2005. Can I weld aluminum with it?
Can I use a spool gun like the Spoolmate 100? Thank you.

    From the spoolgun hookup chart

"No spoolgun solution available for the Millermatic Passport, must upgrade to the Millermatic Passport Plus."

          Passport and Spool Gun

So all I have to do is add a switch to switch between the internal spool drive and the external (100) spool drive change to 100% Argon and I'm good to go? Will the 100 spool gun connect to the Passport like the Mig gun connects? Thank you I'm new to all of this.

That's what I did with our small 140 mm here at work. Your female control plug only has two pins in it so you need the one with four pins in it.
If you'll pm me your email I'll send you pictures our i'll post pictures if any one wants.
I would also contact brwelding they can help you with it.
