    Welding on Facebook

Just wondering how many members here have a facebook site for their welding, whether it may be a business or personal site. I seems like I do a lot more on facebook these days. We do a fair amount of business from there now as well.
Just one more thing now to add to the way we get our names out such as phonebooks and websites, business cards etc....
Here is mine....feel free to browse and like

    It is probably overkill.....

    But...

    Duty cycle isn't an issue
I also have 800 amp 3 phase service and people act like that is overkill.
My shop is now seven times bigger than my old one.
I'm probably not the guy to ask anymore, cause I'm not thinking about I need less space or amps.
I can weld 300+ amps as long as I want nonstop on real thick material.
My only concern is burning up torches and extension cords.

Seriously if you was to go back a few years into my history you would see I got this machine on a KILLER DEAL. You would have bought it. Anybody would have, had they only known about it!
I am blessed. I am going to use my blessings to the best of my abilities while I still can.
What some people look at and see as overkill I see as endless possibilities
Now if you wanna talk about big payments, I can get right there with ya!
    Garry

    FusionKing,

Checked out your page and I must say that is some seriously nice work you're doing.

I wanted to ask you about your Dynasty 700. Is there any thing it's doing for you that a Dynasty 350 wouldn't do equally as well?

I've done quite a bit of aluminum welding with a Syncrowave 300 and while there were a couple of times I was wishing I had the Syncrowave 500 I just can't imagine a situation where you would ever need any more than that for manual TIG welding.

About a year a go I got to play with a Dynasty 200 for about an hour on some aluminum and was pretty amazed with what it will do. There's no doubt it will out preform a Syncrowave on aluminum. And I really want one.

While I think the 200 is a little on the small side for serious aluminum work I just can't help but think that the 700 would be serious, unnecessary over kill.

Since you obviously have more experience with the Dynasty series machines I'd like to hear your thoughts on the subject.

    Thanks.

thank you fusion and brocolli, i am going to give it a try right now, i had a web site a year or so ago, i did not get much out of it when it was at its best, my thoughts on the web sites is that the guys with the best sites are on top of todays technology, constantly feeding data back into it. heck, i dont even have a cell phone, but i do own many, many welding machines, .well, thats what i tell people when they ask me why i dont have a cell phone, thanks again, i will let ya know how i make out

I have a personal page under my name, but for my welding we have an actual business page. They are not the same and they work a bit different as well.
You need to open it under a different account......or at least that is how we chose to do ours.

I've got one. I don't get any work from it. Yelp and Google do more for me than anything else. Yellow pages aren't worth the money anymore.
