  • Miller 211 problem

Hi, I have a miller 211 I got about a month ago, I mostly do sheet metal work with it. 22-16 gauge mild steel, first the welder came with a bad trigger and had to go in for repair...or at least that is what i was told. The most recent problem is I am having is the welder tends to have a hard time starting an ark... Like today when i was taking a panel together 6 tacks it had great start up and did its job....then it decided it was done and 6-8 more tries it wouldn't start a ark then bamm its good again....also the wire feed on a long pull is very inconstant and it always want to weld the wire to the tip...so i put it away get out my Lincoln 180 mig spool it up with some smaller wire push the miller into the corner and never have a problem again...

    Ground clamp?

Check your ground, one end to the other.
