  • stiff cables on plasma cutter

Hi I got my miller375 xtreme about 2 years ago and the cables on it were Reilly stiff, I thought that they would loosen up after some use but they didn't.it has the ICE tourch on it,I know this sounds dumb but it is very annoying all help would be appreciated thanks.

Have 2050 which we bought new torch assembly about 2 years ago. Same problem, very frustrating. Newer series have more flexible components.

        stiff cables on plasma cutter

Hypertherm 85, same, my only real complaint.
I have leather covers on both leads which makes even a little worse.

Buy a Thermal Dynamics plaz cutter........Ive had a miller, and a lincoln and the Thermal Dynamics blows them away.....stiff torch is not an issue...even the 80 amp model doesn't have too stiff a lead... Just my opinion.....YMMV....
