  • Cover for 211?

Just purchased a Millermatic 211 along with the heavy duty running gear and a cover. The cover won't go over the welder because of the back rest/tank rest. Has anyone modified the cover or know of another cover that will work?

Put a small piece of wood behind the welder so it doesn't slide in to the tank rest.

I got the cheaper version of the cart they sell with it.

The back will block the air flow coming out of the machine if you run it with the welder pushed all the way back. I do keep it back when moving it with a piece of angle and a couple bolt pins at the front. Then pull it forward to run it.

Didn't get a cover, but do keep a plastic bag over it.

Thanks, I'll try that. Sounds like it should work.
