    This is just a small table top magnetic tracer built to duplicate a part using a steel pattern. The variable speed motor turns a magnetic stylus that runs on the outside of the pattern causing the torch mounted below motor to trace pattern copy on steel plate resulting in close copy of pattern. You keep doing that for as many parts as you need. Many parts for machine are still available. The 2400 refers to 24" reach of this unit. They are built in 24", 30", 60", and 90", I believe. weldersales
