    Funny thing...the reason the gas wouldn't flow was because of dirt. Never would have guessed. The dirt was in the outlet too far back to see by eye. However, with the flow wide open I gently pushed a piece of filler rod into the gas port. Chunks of dirt blew out and thus resolved my issue! I didn't have the leads attached as I switch between TIG and SMAW frequently.
