  • millermatic 180 with innershield

I am thinking about using my 180 with innershield so i can have two welders going at same time. I have always used solid wire with this. Has anyone tried the nr-211-mp with this machine? Does it run well or is it not worth trying. Im thinking i will try .035

Other than solid ss wire innershield or self-shielded wire is all that i ever used in my mm130, mm challenger, mm211. I have used lincolin wire tri-mark wire hobart wire but the wire i like the best is esab. What you will find out is that flux-core wire is a stick on a roll. Less waste I will use the wire feeder anytime before i will use stick, and i have a ta 252i with mig, stick, tig and it has had only three stick rods used on it but not by me. I quit using stick when i bought the mm`130 back in 1995.

I use the bigger stuff with my feeder. Just Never with my 180. Its just been too windy for solid on this job so I will try the flux cored with it
