Is the amperage knob on the front turned all the way counter clock wise to the gas set mode? If the machine is in gas set mode the pressure light will be on untill you take it out of that mode by turning the amperage adjustment knob clockwise. If that is not the problem check to see if you have 24 volts DC at the two wires that go to the coil of the valve. You should only have voltage there when you pull the torch trigger or when you are in the gas set mode.

There is a 4 pin plug that goes out of the torch recepticle on the front of the machine and plugs into the main control board PC1 on the left side of the unit. It has 2 blue leads and 2 purple leads. If the air stops flowing with this plug dissconnected from the board then you have a problem in the torch ( Shorted trigger leads the 2 purple wires ) If the air continues to flow with the plug dissconnected then you have a problem with the main circuit board PC1.
