What are the calculations for determining the leg length and the throat depth when doing a cut & etch.
I am working to GMW14058 spec which says the leg length should be greater or equal to 0.90t mm min and the throat depth should be greater or equal to 0.70t mm min. My thinest material is 1.0 mm so I would thing that the leg length would be 0.90 mm min and the throat would be 0.70 mm min. Am I correct.
I have read other places in the forum where the leg length is 1 1/2 times the least material thickness or that
you take the least material thickness times the square root of 2.0.
    Does anyone know the answer.
