    What is most convenient way to Preheat.?
    Which Equipments should be used to Measure Temperature.

      If its big pipe you also might want to consider one of those weed burners hooked up to a propane tank provided your just trying to take the chill out of the pipe.

        I use propane for Pre heat due to cost of acetylene. H/D weed burner for the big stuff or propane Rosebud tip on torch for smaller things.
        Use Laser Thermometer to read temp.
