  • filler rod quality

Has any of you noticed a big difference of the quality of tig filler rod from one manufacture to another? For example i use Radnor filler from Airgas which i know is made in china. Is there a big difference from the same filler made by more reputable companies here in US?

I have had issues with the Radnor rod in the past.
At the present I use Alco-Tec and Harris with zero problems.

out of curiosity what were your issues with the radnor filler? I am working on fine tuning my alum tig and learning the advanced functions of my dyn 350 so all understanding all my variables is important.
