  • Miller Econo Tig 100 only welds on High..needs circuit board repair?

A friend has a Miller Econo Tig (100?)...the welder amp adjustment seems to be stuck on high (100 amp).

The Miller distributor checked it out and said he needs a new circuit board for about $500. He figures that's about what the welder is worth...

Circuit board assembly Number is 164431...any sources that could repair the board for him...any idea of the cost?

    Thanks

I've seen that board, kinda a crap shoot to fix. The updated board # is 165872, only way to save $$ is order it direct from: www.miller4less.com

Can you post a close-up photo of the circuit board?
