  • max'd out wire speed on 211. ?? help

How could I turn up the wire speed on my welder while welding .030 aluminum
On my spoolgun. I'm max'd out wire speed wise. But my amperage is at 4.5. While on 3/16".

    Can you run .035?

Sure. But id still be lacking wire speed for proper bead flow for aluminum welding.

Nope, the bigger the wire, the slower the speed has to be, and for 3/16 you should be running 035 anyways.

Yup what cruizer said. Beyond that you can buy a larger machine.
