  • Miller Maxstar 200 needs repair on PC 2 board

Hi All, I'm new to this forum, I have a very old Airco 300 amp machine that works fine, but if it breaks down I will need a new machine. A guy who owes me money, just dropped off a Miller Maxstar 200 amp machine that does not work. No Contractor Kit with it. I opened it up and the PC2 circuit board for power interconnect # 200851 has burned up. I do not know why it failed and I don't know what else could be bad.

Is this machine worth fixing, and buying a contractor kit for? Who can fix it?
I would like second Tig AC/DC welding machine so should I just use the Maxstar as a trade in?

Any advice would be welcome. I do not weld for a living just for my Hobby of Bonneville Racing.
