We have a shopmaster 300. The machine, wire feeder and high frequency unit are all on one cart. We have a table beside it used for welding. If you touch the cart and the table while the machine is on, it gives you a pretty good shock. So far has only happened while stick welding. Any solutions?

Something, is live, likely the primary is shorted to the frame, or posssibly you've got the plug wired wrong.

The primary meaning what? I'm not an electrician so I'll have our guy check it out. It's not the greater feeling I be zapped unexpectedly! Or even expectedly for that matter!
