  • Machine & Welding Supply Co. shielding gas number decoder

I posted this a while back on the Hobart forum so you may have seen it. I have not received any responses...

Does anyone have a chart handy to translate MWSCO numbers to what they really are? For example I recall that their 101 gas is actually C25 (25% CO2. 75% Argon) and 105 is I think C8. I have (had) a chart but cannot find it at the moment. My account is with Airgas so I do not have a contact at MWSC. The MWSC web site provides no information.

I have emailed MWSC but have yet to hear from them.

    TIA,

    Ken
