  • Help! Millermatic 250 won't go

I haven't used my Millermatic 250 in several months. When I switched it on, nothing happened. When I put it away it was working fine - it has not been plugged in so I don't think lightning got it. Any ideas about what I should check?

Open it up and check for rodent damage. May be a dumb question, but did you check the outlet for power

As stated above, I would check for power to the outlet, rat chewed wires and dirt dabber nests inside the machine.

Fortunately (for me) I did check the outlet for power and it was hot. Opened up the machine and found neither dirt dauber nests nor any indication of rodent damage. I also punched the reset button but that did no good either. Any other ideas?

Pull the covers & get your meter out. Do you have power to the switch? Out of the switch? Checked plug on end of machine cord.
