  • Red V350 Pro and LN742

I have the chance to buy these machines for 3,200.00 with cables and a MIG gun and no other accessories. According to the S/N they were manufactured in 2003 and the V350P is the "factory" model. They were not used very often and appear to be in top condition. I would appreciate any input. I have no experience with Lincolns, for all I know the V350 Pro might be a real paperweight designed by a commitee.

No matter how hard I try, I always hear about the other guy who can do it better, faster and cheaper. Sure would like to meet him someday but no one seems to be able to find him when I ask. [B]

The V350P is one of Lincoln's high-end multi-process inverters. Look here for more info on it.

Thanks for the info hankj. It will help to muddy the water even more (ha ha). I was hoping for some input from people with hands on experience. I'm pretty sure that if it passes testing I will buy the setup.

you can't go wrong with that package. The LN742 is a great feeder, and with the digital readouts, easy to set up. The V-350Pro is an icredible little machine. runs on any voltge except 110. incredible control of the arc in stick and mig modes, and can be used for gouging without really "hurting" the machine. fairly low input power requirements, and great output.

my opinion.....if it works, buy it.
