Running 11.95 youre about a half second or more slow on your 60'.

it's a pipe dream to expect a 600 to do any better than a 1.7 60'.... it's just the nature of how they make power...

I wasnt picking on your bike, just referring to the numbers. I had an old Camaro that would only do mid 12s @ 109 but 60ed better than that. Maybe just the difference in being a regular street driver and a race car.

a bike will never equal the 60' time of a car... but they will run down a car with ease. You have to be much more careful how you launch a motorcycle over how you launch a car..... launch too soft and you'll bog it... launch too hard and you'll have a 400lbs motorcycle lying on your chest.

A liter bike with an extended swingarm will still only 60' in the 1.6-1.7 range, but will cover the entire 1/4 in about 9.90@145 or so...

                Here's what I've been doing.

I have been working with a borrowed Syncrowave 250, which is leaving my garage soon, so I picked up a little Maxstar 150 STL last night just to finish things up. My TIG welds still need some help, and my MIG welds are getting there. I'll def be bugging alot of ya'll for some advice.

What are you doing with the intake on that car?

I sold the 1071 blower/EFI set-up and switched to an F-2 procharger with a blow through dominator. Little more H.P. on pump gas with this set-up.

                              Hi Jeff:
No real progress since these pics. were taken. I have done some work on the dash & intercooler plumbing. Doing a little work on the pass. side header & plan to rebuild the firewall next. Just too many other irons in the fire to get much hobby time in.

Here is a picture of the University of Minnesota Formula SAE car. Entirely college student designed and built. The frame is student TIG welded 4130. I did all of our aluminum welding, which was entirely non-structural.

I will post more pics when I get home
