Im wanting some ideas on how to build a welding lead spooler/reel thingy majig.. ANyone have any ideas on this or a place on the net i could see some good pics to get a good idea on how to tackle this? ANy help is much appreciated.....

take a look at my reels on my page and i'll tell ya how they work i like them alot (tell you the truth go buy a set saves head ache and money

there called spools my friend, I hear lots of guys try to build them but I'd say
just buy ones if you can there's alot of screw'en around to make them work right. If you dont have enough money then make yourself some wraps first way easier unless you have a machine shop

Hey Lynx....they look good... I have other people saying just go buy them...so thats prolly what I will do. Not sure yet. may just be a little project I do on the side for myself to actually say i built some..lol.....your rig looks great and thanks for the advice.....Shawn

i might be younger than some of these guys but i do have alot of know how i've won gold at a provical level in welding and placed 7th in all of canada for under21 years old a few years back, so i'm not afraid to help out another person with what i know
