Any suggestions for a air/gas analyzer. Looking for something to check for flammable atmospheres other than my nose :D which doesn't work very well . Do any of you rig guys use anything?

If you're looking for a simple combustable gas leak detector, you might try TIFF. I use them to check assembled gas lines for leaks. Cost is about $150
and sense many different gases. If you are looking for a gas analyzer, expect
to pay a lot more.

Check out draeger they make all kinds of gas detection equipment. they start for about 500 -600 bucks and go up from there. Kind of spendy but I would rather spend money on safety way before a funeral.

Good point. I ended up ordering a TIF 8850. I was in a hurry. It's supposed to check down to 5PPM and covers most of the common flammables. It should be sensitive enough according to spec. sheet. Thought it would be good to have on the truck. Thanks for the input.
