hey, i was wondering if tou can hook up an m25 gun to the old mm35? I have a gun and a mm35 in my garage that has not been used for 10 years. The gun on it is broken and it is wired in so i'm not sure how to hook up a new gun.

I used to have a MM35 I bought it used back in about 1994 and I think it was 10 years old back then, I think all you have to do is get an addapter for it.
Dont get rid of it, the new ones dont run as nice, except they were saying the new MM251 runs as good as the old MM200.

I wish the new welders could be expected to last as long as the old ones. Also you would think the new welders would at least weld better and never worse....

There's no telling how many thousands of inches of beads I've laid with my MM35 over the past 12 years. And, there's no telling how many owners it had before me. I think it was made in 1978.
For the gun, it depends on the manufacturer of the gun. Some of them make a conversion kit for a MM35 (Benard) and some don't. Most of them will help you get close and you'll have to engineer the rest yourself. I've got to replace my gun someday soon.

i was actuly just ordering consumables for my mm135 and there is and adapter kit that miller sells. I would never trade my mm35 for a new 251, there is somthing about the old welders that make them so good.
