here goes....36, divorced, work at a fab/machine shop for the past 2 1/2 years, owned and operated Marty's Welding in Cecilia, ky. from 1996 to 2002, my main customer was out of Indianapolis, Iniana, i built stainless ballistics tanks for forensic labs for them....all federal money and when 9/11 hit....no more tanks....we do alot of fab work where i'm at now, i kept a few pieces of eguipment from my old shop when i sold out...syncrowave 250, OTC DM-300 sweet on stainless :) i used to do alot of bridge work, welding up pilings, gas pipeline....i still do a few highrise sign jobs on the side, it seems around here there are not alot of certified welders that will climb or work off of a crane.....that's about it and besides i hate typing...lol

Hi Marty, welcome to the site;) . Hey can you elaborate on this piling thing? I don’t understand:rolleyes: :D ! Got any pictures? :)

they drive pilings ( 12 inch or larger H beam ) into the ground until it hits bedrock or a specified distance, they drive one, then stack another on top of it and we'd weld them together and they'd drive some more....
