I have t0 ask you how you came up with that ^ ?

This is a pretty broad question. are you talking about duty cycle, price or performance (weld thickness)

and btw if its just a pricing question the ^ machine is like twice the price of either of those migs

I think he meant a comparable machine as far as capacity to complement a 210/251 class mig.

I think my 185 complements my 210 nicely, well except for the color :o maybe. :D :D :D

With the above being said, I will be the one to throw in the 200DX, Does eveything I need and is very portable, I don,t have the beans for the 300DX and having to keep up with unixadm is bankrupting me ;)

just to throw my $.02 in here, i would say the dyn.200DX would compliment bolth MIG's verry nicely. it realy depends on your aplication. as a home hobbiest the dyn200 would be great if you got something too thick for the dyn.200 you role out the MM251 and melt away.most will prefer to use MIG on the thick jobs any way. if you are planing a welding buisness you may have more need for the bigger TIG as customers want what they want and it dosent matter what you want. if they want or have a spec. sheet requiring TIG on 1" aluminum you gota give it to them.although if i were starting a welding shop i would probly get the dyn200dx/syncro250 and the MM350/350p with spool gun and the dyn 200dx/syncro250 and send out the acasinal aluminum TIG job that required more amp's(unless the order was large enough to cover the $$ of the purchas of a larger TIG) the 350 with spool doing most of the work and the dyn./syncro for the prity stuff.most likely getting the syncro250 for the extra amps as my starter TIG
