Well I am selling my 200DX and I already put a deposit down and placed the order for a 300DX machine locally. I like doing internet deals, but for stuff like this I like to buy from local businesses. This will be the third TIG machine I will have gotten from them. Plus they treat me right with gas and other consumables. Can't wait to fire up the 300DX.

While I don't have a 300 at home I use the ones in the welding lab where I'm a Lab Assistant. They are really nice. You're going to like using it in the real world as it is a world class preformer!

It's a very nice machine and I think you'll be very pleased. Did you go with a TIGRunner or just the power supply?

As a local dealer thank you for buying local :) and not on the net,the net is hurting local dealers

I am just getting the power supply. I am keeping the accessories from my 200DX. I will upgrade to a water cooled torch soon. I have all the parts also to build a water cooler as well, thanks to Sundown.

Thanks.

I just bought my DeWalt angle grinder locally at a tool store, I was thinking I would get a better deal online but when I got home and did some checking of the cost after shipping and it was the same. I will be getting another one from them after the first of the year, this is the same company that repaired my STL, and I can look them in the eye while I am dealing with them. Having said that the net is a fact of life and it will not go away, the problem that remains is how to deal with them when things go south as some of them have email as the only way to contact them.

I will be looking forward to seeing pictures what you come up with on the cooler as I sure enjoyed making mine. :D ;) PS: Just got around to taking a look at your web site, nice stuff you are doing there.....I was the manager of a very large DP shop for the public school system here before I retired, its an ok way to make a living BUT fabrication and welding is much, much more fun, IMHO.
