Hi guys I picked up some new clamps the other day and I thought you guys may like them. I bought one of the Steel ones and one of the Aluminum ones. Both open a little over 6"s. A couple of nice features that they both have are the threads are completely covered so no slag will get into the threads and I think the nicest part is that the shoe that comes in contact with the material being clamped doesn't move. It doesn't turn and it doesn't flop around. What I mean, if you have ever tried to clamp right on the edge of a piece of steel you know how hard it is to keep it from slipping off. These don't slip off. They really work great. They wont replace my Bessy clamps but they do have a home next to them...

You can look at the clamps at jancy.com

I have a bunch of clamps as well. All kinds. I don't care for the old C clamp style but we all have them. The Bessey are the best that I have found for general clamping but these Jancy work great for close to the edge clamping.
I agree about this forum It's the best!

Gunshot wounds heal, but the new engine drive will be with you for a long part of your life, and they are always willing to do what YOU want.

ROFLMAO!!! :D

Sold my nice 2002 Silverado, bought a high-mile 1998 F150 & paid cash. SWMBO said "Great! That's $460 every month you won't have to spend."

Brought the TB302 home a few weeks later - she was less than thrilled. Worked like a slave for at least four weeks, probably six weeks, getting everything ready. Coalsmoke knows exactly what I mean. Neglected everything else - kids, bills, eating, you know - The Machine had to get done. All this time, My Better Half would ask how much money the new welder had made.

FINALLY, got it mostly done. The phone rings at all hours & Better Half smiles as I walk out the door late at night, for a date with destiny (something is not right  )

Ya can't live with 'em & ya sure can't live without 'em. :D
