Just pulled this off the IOC web site, you can order one from them right now I guess.

"Squarewave output with AC balance control features adjustable penetration and cleaning action while increasing arc stability on various aluminum alloys, and helps eliminate tungsten spitting and arc rectification.

NEW Cable management system uses dual cable hangers and foot control storage convieniently attached to power source side panels to allow all weld cables and the remote foot control to be neatly stored, preventing torch, cable or remote damage.

NEW Syncro-start allows the operator to choose from 3 different starting conditions to optimize the application (soft/standard/hot)

NEW Runner has low cylinder rack to eliminate the need for lifting when changeing cylinder.

Fan-On-Demand improves power efficiency and reduces noise and maintenance by lessening the amount of airborne contaminants pulled through the machine.

Adaptive Hot Start for Stick arc stars automatically increases the output amperage at start of a wled should the start require it. Prevents the electrode from sticking and creating an inclusion.

New QWeldcraft WP1712SFDI tig torch. 150 amp air-cooled torch features super flex (SF) braided nylon power cable for maximum flexibility.

NEW auto-postflow protects the weld end zone and electrode by optimizing postflow time based on welding amperage every time without waste and no need for adjustment.

NEW digital meters with alpha-numeric displays allow for quick and easy viewing and preset values for voltage, amperage and other key variables. Allows for greater accuracy and repeatability in the welding proceedure.

NEW built in pulse control enhances weld bead and puddle control for improved appearance and quality--reduce burn through, coordinate the addition of filler material and reduce the warping effects of distortion by reducing the average heat input.

NEW 115V auxiliary power receptacle is conveniently located on the front panel, allowing for operation of a coolmate torch coolant system or other small tools.

arc hour/cycle counter records actual welding time and number of arc starts.

Dig controlallows the arc characteristics to be changed for specific applications and electrodes. Lower the dig setting for smooth running electrodes like 7018 and increase dig control setting for stiffer more penetrating electrodes like E6010.

208-230v 50/60hz, Max pull 54 amps5-200 amp range40% duty cycle at 150APictures not available--very similar in appearance to the Syncrowave 250DX listed in our store, but no internal water cooler built in. "

Sounds like a major improvement over the Sync 180SD. They don't have a picture yet. I can't wait to see some reviews on this new machine. Price also seems fair at under $2,000.

I googled ioc welding supplies news (or something close to it) and found the site 5'th or so down. Google seems to be dependant on how you order the words, so often I'll try a couple of different combinations. Sounds like a good machine.

So now do I make a new thread titled, 180sd or the new 200 :D

Yes. Especially if you consider the extra 20 amps and the pulser that you wouldn't have to buy.

If its the size of a 250dx , its not an inverter then right ?

That is what the description said, not that it the same size. No, it is not an inverter as it is replacing the 180Sd. Oh wait a minute, is the 180 an inverter?

Seems like your just doin some chain jerking at this point.

What are you talking about, actually me and Engloid were talking, and he asked me if it was an inverted and I said I did not think so cause it looked like the 250dx.

Hey Engloid, did you really ask if the 180Sd was inverted?   :D :D :D

now I dont know if thats a good idea or not....well for me at least, I would think that using a grinder right next to my brand new tig welder would lead to problems down the road.....

seems like a nice machine though and I would be intrested in a demo so listen up miller...and send one out to me :D I promise to give it a good write up !!

btw wasnt lincoln the first ones to have that aux plug on their mig machines .....?

Good for miller sales and repair. I only let me sparks fly on my lincoln mig :D

I think the 115v outlet was intended more for a water cooler.

I will get pictures up as soon as the machine gets here.
