Nice , so far!

How do you like the 302 and suitcase?

Only thought..consider 2 hyd. cylinders for better load control.

This will be one I follow, The shop set-up & truck are looking good. Is the service truck a 2500? I could not get a close look at the rear axle. Keep up the progress reports :D

lramberson Yes the truck is a 2500 with air bags.

df5152 Yes the plans do come every complete with what you will need. The plans are very basic and explane a lot of what needs to be cut. So far I have about $1100 in steel, $285 in Hydraulic Cyl, $800 in the 7000lb tandem axles and springs, $115 for ball coupler and jack.

I did not get a lot more together today(out riding horses). Tomarrow will be a good day for progression. Should have the tounge on the Hydraulic mounts in the trailer frame. Also start on the Dump frame some time tomarrow.

I have a Highschool kid comming tomarrow to help, He is very interseted in welding so he will be helping out a lot.

Pictures tomarrow after the day is done

Gary very nice work, and I am glad you can help the young high schooler to appreciate good old fashioned hard work. Fun and learning and lessons of life, your teaching something very important---values!

Keep up the good work,

GaryWe built a 18' 8' trailer . one neighbor said with one cylinder the trailer woulds have a tendency to twist in up position, we but two and were never sorry it has twice the power. and holds lots of weight. Jim
