You will find quite a bit of useful info from the pros on this forum. Some of the questions that need to be asked are what type of electrical service is available at your facility. Does the machine need to be portable? How thick and what type of material will you be welding? What type of duty cycle will be required for your application? What welding processes are most important to you? Basically what are you going to be using it for? Once you post this information I am sure we can help.

I build the frames from mild steel, all the sheilds are made with alu. I have a mm210 with spool gun now but the welds don't look that good so we have to grind them before paint or polish. I also would like to make a frame with alu. I run motorcycle engines in my pullers.
