Anyone have experience with the CNCs that use your hand-held plasma torches? I'm specifically looking at the "PlasmaCAM" Looks like a fun, and a money-maker, too. -Mac

Mac, most of the torches in the Miller Plasma Line do not use high frequency for arc starting. This is a good thing because it will not interfere with today’s computerized equipment. I do not have the hands-on experience with the PlasmaCam product so you might try asking them for a few references. Good Luck:)

Mac,

I found this link you may want to view on the Plasma-Cam. It definitely looks like great machine. Just for the viewing are attached pics of CNC Burny 3 Controller in operation with large torch. It's a cool machine with CNC on plasma and torches. This is part of my buddy's shop. It's easier to let him burn it than invest-at least for me. Good luck with your search.
